the middle of Isla Bastimentos on the edge of the
Bastimentos National Marine Park lies an area know
as Bahia Honda. An indigenous community and school,
an eco lodge, and several families inhabit this
area. There are nice areas to go caving and
kayaking along the edges of island here.
